Napoli Pizza and Italian Restaurant celebrated 35 years in business on Monday, May 6th and the celebration finally stole my attention to try them out after countless drives by.
The moment I stepped inside, the nostalgic aroma of a classic pizzeria transported me. I opted for the Brooklyn Pizza and a Chicken Cesar Salad, and both were nothing short of phenomenal.
Benny, one of two owners, explained to me that they have not changed their ingredients throughout the 35 years and are especially proud of their sauce.
The Brooklyn Pizza truly captured the essence of a homemade Italian pie. The sauce, bursting with fresh tomato flavor, complemented the perfectly crisped, non-greasy crust. Each bite felt authentic, like savoring a slice straight from the streets of Italy. I even snagged a single slice for later, which while not quite as awe-inspiring as the Brooklyn, held its own with its thin, crispy perfection. The Chicken Cesar Salad deserves special recognition – it's the best I've ever had from a pizza place. Freshly grilled chicken and crisp lettuce made for a delightful and satisfying accompaniment.
Needless to say, Napoli Pizza has earned a permanent spot on my "must-visit" list.
Napoli Pizza and Italian Restaurant want to thank all of their loyal customers who made the past 35 years fly and appreciate all of their continued support.
